Diving Right On In.

Since I spend so much time reading other people's blogs, I thought I'd start my own. The title "Oh, What Matters?" was inspired by now 8-year old daughter, Olivia. This was one of her favorite phrases when she was about 4 or 5. I believe it was sort of the pre-cursor to the phrase "Oh, whatever" that seems to pop out of every preteens mouth (or at least it did when I was preteen).

So, what matters? To me, the pure joy that I receive from each of my children (of course, there's a great deal of agony too, but I'll save that for later) is what inspires me to get out of bed each morning. And, now that I get a chance to talk about them online to anyone who'll listen, well, that is just plain peachy.

What else will I talk about here in this online journal?  I do love to shop. So, you'll be sure to hear about my many shopping adventures. And, travel is pretty high up on The List, too. You'll be hearing about some upcoming trips to Chicago (with my hubby), and to Arizona (with two of my bestest girl friends). Oh, and scrapbooking and papercrafting are definitely on The List. Although, I should say that collecting scrapbooking supplies is really what I'm doing. I never seem to have time to make anything with all those gorgeous goodies. What I would most like to add to The List is digital scrapbooking.

I'm going to try and make this blog look prettier real soon.
