I'm back. Typical me. I start something, get all excited about it, and then don't finish. Sigh. Being that it feels like spring here in Michigan (70 degrees!), I thought it's time for new beginning. Conner was so excited to wear short sleeves this morning. Of course, he paired them with his favorite pair of Old Navy fleece sweat pants. He even said "Oh, maybe we can go in the swimming pool!" Not quite yet, honey.
We've planned the front half of our family road trip in June. We're heading to Tybee Island (near Savannah, GA) for five days. We're staying in the cutest beach cottage that is soon to be featured in Southern Living magazine. Love that! Doesn't this place look adorable?
For the tail end of the trip, we're going to spend some time in Charleston, SC and then either head up the coast to Myrtle Beach or Virginia Beach. The part that I'm dreading is the 14-hour drive down. With three kids. That's going to be a loooonnggg trip. But, getting to stay in the south for 10 days makes it worth it. I love the south. The people. The food. The history. The shopping. One of the things I would love to do while there is get a professional picture of The Little Crew on the beach. I would really like to get them coordinating outfits from here. I am loving the whole preppy madras look. Lily needs that adorable little Madras ruffled swim suit. I admit it. I have preppy love.

I'm going to scrapbook tonight. Yes, I say that 365 days a year, but manage to actually do it 2-3 times. I got my Jenni Bowlin kit yesterday (love getting mail like that). The papers are so yummy. I have to do something with them. So, if I get creative mojo up and running, I'll be sure to post it here.
Back soon!
